Broken-Hearted Pup Eaten By Fleas Curled Up On Road, Too Weak To Keep Going

A small puppy lay alone in the middle of the road. People walked past him without looking at him.

Stray dogs are widespread in this area, and he appeared to be just one of many to observers. But we all know that isn’t true. We recognize the importance of each and every life! We recognize that every life is valued.

The child was exceedingly frail. He was so infected with fleas that his body was breaking down. Each flea that drank his blood contributed to his anemia.

This baby was in severe need of help, and he needed it right away! As he curled up into a ball, his little heart just broke. He didn’t feel valuable at the moment, but that was about to change.

A local rescue worker hurried over when she heard about the puppy. She cautiously picked him up and saw that he had hundreds, not just a few, fleas. He also had Demodex mange. He needs to see a veterinarian as soon as possible.

The vet and the woman who rescued the puppy quickly placed him on the exam table and began treating him. He needed a flea wash as well as rigorous medical testing.

They needed to look into his anemia. They also had to start treating his mange on a daily basis with medications and medicated baths.

The dog started to feel safe, especially around the woman who had rescued him. She made a pledge to herself that she would find him the perfect permanent home.

She contacted a friend who would be a great match for the puppy, and her friend agreed to take the puppy in. Once he was medically cleared, he was able to go immediately to his new mother’s residence.

The brave young man was enamored by his new surroundings right away. He was no longer chilly and hungry on the streets. He had everything he could desire.

He also had a canine brother, and they got along great. The puppy was still thriving. He was especially pleased with his new luxurious bed. There will be no more chilly concrete for this baby!
